This beer carries a lot of meaning for us. Back in 2018, while we were renovating the old furniture plant that would become Goose and the Monkey Brewhouse, a fire broke out. The one thing that prevented it from spreading and potentially ending the project was a heavy steel fire door. That fire door quite literally saved our brewery. Fire Door is our tribute to resilience and second chances and is a smooth Irish Red Ale layered with rich coffee character.
